“I am writing about Jug in my life for the #DearZindagi activity at BlogAdda“

am writing about Jug in my life for the #DearZindagi activity at BlogAdda“.

Hello,
So you want me to say something about JUG of my life, right? So here I go.There is always one person in everyone’s life who is THE LIFELINE. By Lifeline I mean to say he/she is the one you think will always be there for you no matter what the circumstances. I also have a JUG of my life. He is my elder brother. Though only two years elder than me in age; he is 20 years elder in intelligence, maturity and experience.

Let me begin from childhood. Being the elder one amongst us, he was the natural shield for me. My parents were always strict with him and sweet with me. He was always the one who got scolded for the mischiefs we did together. My mom always used to take my side when father had to scold one amongst us. She always used to say, “Ise kuch mat kahiye.Ye bada hi ise apne saath shararat karvata hai.” And my brother, with a big heart neither justified himself nor tried to put blame on me. He always protected me without any regrets. Also, whenever it came to divide food or gifts in between us, he always used to give me the bigger chunk.

My mom says that my first lessons for playing were taught to me by him. He taught me how to hold a bat, how to bowl and how to kick a foot ball. As a child I was very impatient and short-tempered. I frequently used get into quarrels with other children who bullied me. In such situations, he used to be the one who settled scores for me, cooled down situations and at times scolded me for being so impatient. He was my protector and a cushion that gave me the faith that no matter however worse situation may be, he would be there to protect me.

Mathematics is a monster every child has to face in school life. Fighting with it became easier as my brother guided me smoothly through all the problems. I owe my academic achievements and intellectual progress to him. He used to discuss his mistakes with me very frankly and it prevented me from making the same. I am someone with zero fashion sense. So when it comes to decide what to wear on what occasions, I always turn up to him. He guides what kind of hair style to have, what kind of beard to have, what body Deo to use, what kind of wrist watch or shoes I must have.

It was obvious for him to start earning before me. During my college days, he used to be my bank account. The moment he used to get his salary, he would transfer one-third of it into my bank-account without me even asking for it. So technically, my movies, parties, outings, picnics were sponsored by him. Also he never asked for any return favour.

There are times when I get frustrated with life. There are problems which are slightly bigger than the mathematics problems. Be it failure in exam or not scoring enough to get distinction or complicated relationships I always turn up to him. He doesn’t waste a single second in making attempts to bring me back to normal. He consoles me like a parent. Advises like a teacher and also pats on my back when I succeed in recovering. The only thing you want in depressing times is to have someone who listens to you. He is the guy I can rely upon. I know that whatever I want to speak out I can in front of him and he will listen me completely like an obedient student. I can cry my heart out in front of him. I can tell him the things which I can’t share with my parents. He is all ears for me. Today if I am a carefree, loving person who has the ability to cope up with difficult situations its all because of my JUG.

Thank you JUG for standing by my side each and every moment.

I am writing a letter to life for the #DearZindagi activity at BlogAdda.

I am writing a letter to life for the #DearZindagi activity at BlogAdda.

Dear Zindagi,

You have been there with me since my origin in my mother’s womb, i.e. 27 years and 9 months to be precise. From then till now, you have given me so much to thank about that if I start writing I may not be able to complete it any day. I have thanked you at the times when something big and huge has happened to me. But have missed out on thanking you for the small things and moments which you have given me to cherish forever. Let me take this opportunity to thank you for each and every thing.

The first feeling of happiness which I remember is of the love you showered on me in the form of my parents. My mom dipping the Parle-G biscuits in water and feeding me. Mummy used to soak the bread in sugared milk and feed me after squeezing it. She used to mix rice and curd and then create balls of rice which I used to gulp like a panda. That taste is still fresh on my tongue and just the memory of it brings a wide smile on my face.

You gave me the lovely experiences of thrill, impatience, surprises when I used to wait every evening for my dad’s arrival from office keeping my eyes constantly focused over his hands expecting some new sweet or toy for me. Waiting for the first date of every month just because of the tradition of purchasing gulab jamuns on the day of salary gave me goosebumps. The first bajaj scooter bought by dad; and me standing on the front space between the handle and the seat while my dad drove—O God, that feeling was equivalent to travelling in some spaceship. I can’t thank you enough for the SUNDAYSSS, the day which I awaited since the Monday of every week. Watching the morning Rangoli programme followed by Shree Krishna and simultaneously relishing the warm Pav-Bhaji served by mom. And then Shaktimaan during the afternoon lunch was an icing on the cake.

How can I not thank you for the primary school? Travelling in the school bus while playing games with friends. Cricket, football and antakshari were life. Wining in the game of marbles was like earning property for the family. Learning to drive a cycle was no less exciting than driving a Formula one race car. There were moments when I was annoyed with you like when I used to fall while playing and get abrasions all over my body. But then you used to convince me by getting my mom apply Dettol antiseptic over my wounds with all love and care making me ready to play all again. Celebrating Holi, Diwali with the society friends was a different high.

The best thing you could do was to make me the youngest in the family. You, in form of elder brother gave me the joy of a permanent playmate. Having a TV video-game gave the feeling of luxury. Especially, the "Contra" game felt like men on mission to save the world. While my elder brother used to get all the scolding from parents, I used to be the apple of their eye. You gave me the early lessons on savings by the trick of storing coins in the gullak.

Giving me the virtue of intelligence and intuition was another blessing by you which helped me keep myself academically strong throughout my studies, something which kept my parents always happy. Awarding me the ‘Best Student Of the Year Award’ and bringing the tears of joy in eyes of my parents established the fact that you not only kept me happy but everyone related to me also happy.  And then you bestowed me the biggest gift of my whole existence. Getting into MBBS in a reputed college. The dream of my dad which he had been nurturing since my birth. I can’t thank you enough Zindagi for this.

The college phase brought a whole lot of new experiences and surprises. I can never get over the birthday celebrations, the parties, the movie outings, the late night drives. In form of friends you gave me a whole new family. The spontaneous laughter during the lectures and staring at girls in the college canteen was so lively. And then you surprised me with the most beautiful feeling in the world. Yes, the first signal of entry into the adolescent phase. The beauty of infatuation and breathtaking feel of LOVE. Suddenly the world seemed so much beautiful as if the very existence of you was love. That’s when I reinforced my liking for the Bollywood movies and especially SRK. I could relate myself to SRK of all romantic movies such as DDLJ,Dil To Pagal Hai etc. Thank you life for giving me the realization that life is all about love. Though the first love didn’t achieve the happy ending, it gave me all the feelings one could experience. That is when I developed a passion, a craze, an obsession for SRK. And meeting him became a priority in my life without which I would remain incomplete. Passing out MBBS gave me the license to be the servant cum savior of people. You gave me a noble opportunity to work for the fulfillment of God’s purpose. The level of spirituality attached with this feeling of being one with God is damn too high. Thank you life for choosing me. Thank you for keeping me healthy and capable enough to keep others healthy.

With parents’ pride rising one level higher, I could dream of becoming a specialized surgeon. And you responded straight away. You got me placement for post-graduation in Mumbai in branch of Orthopaedics. You surely knew that Orthopaedics at any other place than Mumbai would not have given me a chance to meet SRK. Just when I thought that the unrequited first love would haunt me forever, you sent a beautiful fairy to my workplace. The feeling is as fresh and as liberating as the first time. Hopefully I shall be able to receive the same feelings from her. And now here comes your other blessing in form of Blogadda activity. I finally got the opportunity to meet the biggest star of the universe. Thank you very much life. All these moments are priceless. As SRK says, “Gratitude should be the attitude”; I shall always express gratitude to you no matter what my circumstances. Because I know that even the worst circumstances will help me in the betterment of my character and personality.

Yours truly,

Prashant.

Government Blames Bajaj For The Poor State Of Wrestling In India As It Stopped The Production Of Scooters

There is one thing common between all wrestling movies in India. Be it Sultan, be it Dangal, the protagonist uses the same mode of transport, i.e Bajaj scooters.
Salman was seen riding one and now even Aamir has taken forward the tradition. It is a fact that wrestlers still use this old mode of transport and they are comfortable in it. This has given an opportunity to pass on the blame for the poor condition of wrestling in India on to Bajaj which for a long time now has stopped the production of scooters.
Bajaj has welcomed the criticism and has drawn out a plan to revive the acceptable mode of transport in smaller cities. They even want to associate with Dangal for promotion purposes. Bajaj has promised that it will keep the scooters very cost effective so that all wrestlers can afford it and their commute between home and stadium will be comfortable.
Companies like Honda and TVS are also in talks to launch special edition vehicles designed for the wrestlers. Its good that movies like Sultan and Dangal are bringing us closer on our traditional sport like wrestling.

Chinese President To India : We Will Support Pakistan Until You Remove ‘Chinese Bhel’ From Your Menu

The recently concluded BRICS summit brought the leaders of 5 big big economies together in their fight against terrorism. There was a consensus related to actions against terrorist outfits.
The leaders discussed on various things other than terrorism. That included food, culture, hobbies and future aspirations. The Chinese President Xi Jinping was very vocal about his distaste for Indian Chinese food. Indians have literally customized the Chinese menu according to their own taste.
Some of the famous Chinese food on Indian menu are ‘Gobi Manchurian’, ‘Paneer Chilly’, ‘Chinese Bhel’ and lot more. Its a surprise that these dishes have no existence in China and Indians selling it with the brand name of China.
Xi Jinping was very furious with the dish name ‘Chinese Bhel’ as it is just a disproportionate mixture of all Chinese ingredients. He has strongly condemned the invention of such dishes in India. In fact he has urged PM Modi to personally look into the matter and ban the dish across India. Once the dish is completely banned in India, China will withdraw its support to Pakistan.
Indians are very attached to the Chinese Bhel and its seems very difficult to ban it in near future, but with China’s offer of isolating Pakistan, we can very well think of implementing the ban.
Or else, we should at least change the name of the dish.

Captured Terrorists Convey That They Had Crossed Border Just To Use Indian Wi-Fi And Update Their Apps

After the Uri attacks, the Indian army has unearthed many infiltration activities. Recently 5 terrorists were captured entering Indian territory with weapons.
According to terrorists, these activities are going to increase in the coming days, but the reason they gave is shocking.
According to the infiltrators, they have no access to internet in Pakistan where 2G is going to be launched in 2018. Just like other citizens, even Pakistanis are data hungry and have to constantly upgrade their applications on android or iPhone. This has led to serious infiltration as they can access free internet in India.
Major operators in India have launched 4G services and it is the dream of a Pakistani to use 4G in his/her lifetime. They have promised the Indian government that they will update the applications and return back as soon as possible. One of the terrorists also talked about his dream of using a Jio internet simcard before he returns to Pakistan.
Security agencies are verifying the statements given by these Pakistanis, and if found correct they will all be provided Jio Sims as a goodwill gesture by Indian government.
